When it comes to outdoor learning experiences, sheath knives are up there for sparking interest and enthusiasm among students. However, getting started with sheath knives can seem like a big step for the educator. This workshop will cover: the basics of introducing the sheath knife to students; the Benefit Risk Assessment framework as a way of having open and honest conversations about risk, and it will introduce participants to a range of entry level projects that can be created with groups of students.
