In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to harness the power of video for students to demonstrate their learning in fun and creative ways. You will gain understanding of the applications of some video iPad apps, and build your own skills in creating videos, so that you can return to your classroom and teach your students to do the same. Authentic examples will be taken from language and literature classes, but the ideas apply across all subject areas. Film types and apps covered will be: - Tutorials, Trailers and Short Films (iMovie, Clips) - Green Screen (iMovie) - Animated pictures (ChatterKid, Funny Movie Maker, Stop Motion) Please bring an iPad or iPhone and have the above Apps downloaded.
